Sunday School
St Mary's Sunday School is run by Helen, Heather and Vi on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 10.30 am, meeting in Coddington Parish Room. There are seven children who regularly attend aged from 4 to 10 years of age.
The sessions last around 45 minutes and then the children join the worshipers of St Mary's for the first hymn of the service after which they leave, at about 11.20 am. All sorts of topics are covered, this Autumn Term we will be covering The New Testament stories, having done The Old Testament stories the previous term.
Food is also popular and is used when illustrating different stories from the bible (this is as much for the leaders as the children!). It is a very happy Sunday School and the time flies by each week.
The children take part in the Good Friday service at St Mary's.
The last Sunday School meeting of the year sees everyone heading off on the Sunday School outing to the beach.
