Sunday School
St Mary's Sunday School is run by Helen and Alison on the second and fourth Sunday of each month at 10.30 am, meeting in Coddington Parish Room. there are seven children who regularly attend aged from 4 to 10 years of age.
The sessions last around 45 minutes and then the children join the worshipers of St Mary's for the first hymn of the service after which they leave, at about 11.20 am. All sorts of topics are covered, last term the children spent some time on the Ten Commandments, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Craft work is usually included during the session as the children like nothing better than getting covered in glue!
Food is also popular and is used when illustrating different stories from the bible (this is as much for the leaders as the children!). It is a very happy Sunday School and the time flies by each week.
